Hi I found this coin in some pocket change today.I am new at collecting. It looks like DD but still learning. Looking at the coin it seems to have been misaligned or something but not sure. Any help will be appreciated.Thanks

Closer images would be great. But everything looks normal from that distance. The 1980's zincolns suffered a lot of Die Deterioration with the area next to the rim affected like what John1 mentioned.

if you go the link below the top 1st, 2nd and 3rd image show the same year mint mark 1989-d Lincoln Cent and explains the Die Deterioration Doubling on a matching example.
