Looks like you have the two numbers backwards. Your DDO-003 is actually coppercoins 1972S-1DO-004 and the other one (oo4)is actually 1972S-1DO-003:

@Coop I named my photos a hour after I found these I did double check before I upload but yet again more reason to take my time and think...each step.. @Tunnioc these are same rolls I been going through just my eyes got better. And its a numbers game so I go through 5-10 rolls when I search. I went through all the rolls I found varieties in before just didn't have the skills the first couple passes for some of the varieties. There are alot of coin collectors locally that hoard and collected rolls but almost none of them know any varieties other then Wide AM, 1955 DDO and the 1955 pmdd. So when I get roll tends to be ok compared to a ebay roll. They search them for 1 or 2 high grade to get them slabbed at most.

This discussion has helped me to realize something. The master die doubled examples show the same mark at that angle on the tail of the 2 of the date. So if that doubling is at the same angle, then it is master die doubling. If it is a different angle than the MDD then it would be a DDO. Here is what I'm talking about: Note the angle on the 2 NE? They are the same. The 002 shows a different angle + the MDD as well: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mdsSame thing on the 003 there is a different angle, but does not show the MDD line on the 2 : http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mdsThe 004 does not show that line as well, so it appears to not be a MDD example: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mdsSo when we considered the other two coins above: I now see the MDD line on the location of the tail of the two. So they are the doubled dies listed on copper coins. They are also just master die doubling. Sorry, but we learned something new today.
