It's been too long since I looked at coins and I'm not sure if this is die wear or some sort of doubling. Also, I am uploading pics from two different cents to save on posting.

It is MD. Nothing is actually doubled, it is just been pushed by the dies during the strike reducing the overall size of the devices.

Not sure what this is. I cannot seem to distinguish between reflection and feature. In places it appears shelf like and others it appears rounded. The are even splits, unless that is reflection. I find no doubled dies listed for 2012-D, however.

No notching. The lighting is causing that appearance. MD

Ok, I watched your video on youtube showing different doubles. I'm taking away from it that notching occurs at the ends of the letters, like on the tips of the legs?
