Hey guys

I recently purchased this 1856 large cent and it does have some light damage but I'm curious if this is a slanted 5 or possibly one of the varities?
I really am ignorant when it comes to these , this is the first one I've owned but I'm fairly sure I remember reading that there are several varities of this date !!

There are 13 slanted 5 varieties in 1856, one of which is proof only.

Are there really 13 different varieties of the slanted5 1856, dang why did I ever start this set?

One more question, how do you reply with the quote in your reply? Is this something that's earned

For me the easiest way is

First use the reply to topic button, not the quick reply.

Copy and paste the text you want to quote.

Highlight the text you just pasted, and click the quote
button (in the Format media section)

When you click that button it will put the proper delimiters
on the text.
