'' Columna Traiana (seu Columna Cochlis), quae anno 113 erecta Romae in Foro Traiano sistit, bella commemorat ab imperatore Traiano in Dacos gesta inter annos 101 et 106. Quidam (sed fontibus carentes) columnam ab architecto Apollodoro Damasceno erectam credunt''

Source: Wikipedia-latin

From my very limited knowledge of the language of ancient Rome:

Trajans Column, erected in Rome the year 113 in Trajans' Forum to commemorate Trajans' wars in Dacia in the years 101 to 106. Thought to be have been built by the architect Apollodoro from Damascus.

I guess you can say I have a thing for Trajans Column on his coins.

Here is my small collection of coins bearing this image.

This is one coin type that is on my list. These are not that easy to find and are expensive when they do show up. Two super coins. Thanks for posting them.

Once one gets familiar with Traians column coinage one realizes the trick is to find examples where the figure atop the column is actually placed fully on the planchet (many times only part of it is, specially on denarii), and to find coins that still show some detail on the column itself. Most examples will at best show a series of diagonal lines and dots spiraling up the column - only a very few attempt to show anything resembling actual detail.

Thank you, guys.
Of all of the denominations bearing this design, the sestertius is by far the most elusive. My coin is for example very modest compared to this superb specimen shown in acsearch.

Yes superb but ........

Obvious though is the fact that it has been expertly 'tooled'
I would take yours ! Major tooling bothers me. My Vespasian shows signs of minor scrapping having been done esp around the obv legend. But details have not been added in as far as I can tell.
For this beautiful sestertius I would withhold the " sehr schön " rating !
