I know that I have seen answers regarding stuff like this but I can not seem to find anything now )-: - I found this today in a roll of nickels from the bank! Is it fake?

I don't see much in the way of gold toning, but cameras often don't capture that kind of thing. I would say that the coin is likely artificially toned (since it's a fairly new coin) or gold plated. In either case, it doesn't carry a premium, but is still an interesting find.

to CCF. I can't tell from your pic if it's gold tone or not but nickels are known for toning gold and sometimes a nice blue.

Thank you! BTW . it's weight is about 5.06 grams - that indicates it has been altered...right!?

Weights can vary slightly from coin to coin, but yes, you are probably right. 6 cg overweight suggests that coin has been plated or otherwise altered.
