Nice Walker. I'm just learning that series but my guess is F15-VF20.

I've noticed that when I take photos with my digital it tends to flatten some of the details...this coin actually has much better definition of the eagle wing feathers and skirt lines than the photo shows..is it a lighting issue that causes this?

Lighting and focus.

Are you using the macro setting ?

I have problems with slabs sometimes. The reflection messes with the camera's focus and exposure.

Are you shooting through plastic? It looks as though the photos are out of focus. The coin, however, look very nice, from what I can see. If you can get better pics, we can give more studied opinions on the grade. Thanks for sharing.
