hey everyone, I have always had a thing for large cents but 2 years ago I decided to try collect as many varieties as I can so below you will see a link for my collection from 1858 - 2012 on photo bucket(i haven't gotten around to posting small cents yet) if you have the time it would be great if you could check it out and let me know what you think , let me know if I missed something or if I have made any mistakes in identifying any coins. I have had this link below for quite some time now but just recently updated it, keep in mind some coins may be a little rough but will be replaced once I find better examples. i know some of you would blow me out of the water with your collections but I am proud of what I have been able to put together on limited funds, so thanks for looking and I look forward to hearing your comments

gidjit, I took a quick look at some of your collection and will look more closely later, so far real nice. I did notice a couple of coins are misattributed in your 1892's though. The coin you show for 1892 obverse 2 is in fact an obverse 4. The coin you show for the obverse 2 with intact "N" is also an obverse 4. The best marker to determine the obverse 2 for 1892 is the "D" in DEI. If there is a full serif on the bottom of the "D" then it can not be an obverse 2. All 1892 obverse 2 coins will have only a short stud remaining on the bottom serif. The punch that made these dies was first used in 1888, then 1891 and again in 1892. I'm not aware of any that had the "D" in DEI touched.
Cheers, Bill

Can't find the link. Maybe we can meet for coffee one day and I'll look at them in-hand. We live in the same town.

I didn't see link in the initial post .. not on my screen.
Here are my comments ... I may have missed some of your coins as my eyes playing tricks: 1. You need an 1876 with the R/P'd T in Victoria 2. You need an 1882 Obv 2/1 Type 2. Denticle doubling between Vic and Canada an some D/D of Canada & Gratia 3. Your 1892 "intact T" isn't. Only the Obv 2 has a variety for R/P'd T. All the other Obv's it's normal 4. Your 1893 P 337 isn't right for that variety. There are 4 Types of offset R/P'd 9's. yours is a minor one 5. You neeed p336 T/P. I have a few.
I didn't put down the 1881 single serif, as they very hard to find.... thanks, Roger, for reminding me. I didn't look past the Vickies .. was the "apostrophe" 1907 there?

Of course, you also need the 1881H Single Serif N and the 1907 Notched 7.

Okay .... I'd never heard of the 1907 called "nothched", but I'm well aware of that. I think that I found my first one about 5 years ago and have a few since then. Maybe I showed you about them? There's also what I call the "apostrophe" where it looks like punctuation mark above & just after the 7.

I have found two 188H SSN coins in a decade. Last one I sold (quite cheaply) to a very good friend of mine out in British Columbia... the next one I find, will not be sold cheap!!
