i found a nickel that doesn't look like metalic, I was wonderin if this is pure silver coin its on the top of two coins. can someone tell me if its a pure silver or not please thank you :)

Jefferson nickels were only made 35% silver in 1942-1945 during the war. They have not been made of silver since then. They might be silver plated by a 3rd party, but that is unlikely.

Oh my, what sensitive hands you have! lol, true indeed. On the other hand, if it was (for some strange reason) a fake made out of aluminum, then it would be significantly lighter. aluminum coins are so light that they feel like fake pieces of plastic.

I have a War Nickel. P over the dome. Its unique looking but I dont have a way to take nice pics. Or rather I'm sleep deprived from looking at coins and too lazy atm.

Sorry, it is not silver, it is just the regular copper-nickel allow that US nickels have been made of since the Civil war save for a couple years during WW2.
