The $500, $1000, $5000 and $10000 was last printed in 1945. All sources agree on this.
But I would like to have more information about it.
One source states that the last big ones were shipped from printers on the 21 july -45. Wikipedia states that the last ones were printed on 27 december -45.

Does someone have numbers and dates ?

Not an answer, but I hope you get a chance to hold some of these at some point. It's weird holding a piece of paper that is literally $10,000 cash face value. There are also $100k notes that were strickly an internal govt thing.

I believe that the $5K and $10K notes were never intended for circulation, and that the $500 and $1K notes were withdrawn from circulation starting in 1969.

I believe the last high denomination notes were DELIVERED to the Treasury in December 1945.

The 500 and 1000 dollar notes circulated pretty freely. It was not unusual for cars and houses to be paid for in cash 75 years ago. (YES, you could buy a car or a house for that kind of money back then!)

Although not circulated as widely, the 5000 and 10000 dollar bills were available in the "big city" banks. At one time, Binions Casino in Las Vegas had a "Million Dollar Display" in front of the casino with 100 ten thousand dollar bills in it! They were eventually sold, slabbed and are available on the secondary market on occasions.

The 100000 dollar notes circulated strictly within the Fed.
