As discussed earlier, ICCS grading seems to have change or something is different if I refer to the last coins I compare from my old and new ones I had. This change can be see by two angles from the seller or the collector.

How can we explain? This change does it have an impact on the coins you send at ICCS or to look for an other TPG?

PCGS is recognized around the world as a first-rate grading company. ICCS is a campy, Canadian graded-on-the-kitchen-table affair that holds little to no weight on the world stage. If you have serious coins, send them to a serious grading service.

My point is about the variation in grading for the same years/denominations. For me the, the process of grading is base some points to look for to achieve the proper grade. During last years, I build a referential of many coins of the same year/denomination and graded by different persons and/or TPG. This referential plus books published by Charlton and recently the one by Andre Langlois about grading complete my referential to compare when I grade a coin.

Originaly, I was thinking ICCS as a reference when you are not really confortable or need a second opinion to confirm or not a grade. Now,the reference in Canadian grading for me have change a bit the way to attribuate a grade. What should I think about a AU-50 vs a EF-45 or MS-62 vs MS-63? Should I revise my reference too?
