I found this token metal detecting in a yard in a small town in central Oklahoma. I can't seem to find any information about it. Does anyone know anything about it. Thanks for the help.

I tried to find out something about it but --- couldn't.

It appears to be a store/merchant token. You might find out more about it through your local historical society.

There are thousands of tokens listed in online catalogs but I couldn't find one like yours. That doesn't mean it isn't listed somewhere -- so you might want to keep checking online for info. on the L A Watts company.

your token is listed on Token Catalog however they don't have an image of it

One thing to note is Oklahoma became a state in 1907, I would guess this dates prior to that.

Yes it is from a time when O Ter meant Oklahoma Territories. It good possibly be a token from one of the mer4chants that serviced the army posts. they have a name for that type of merchant but at this time of the morning I can't seem to remember how it is spelled!

I had no idea what O. Ter. meant.

That token is really old....must have spent a long time in the ground.
