ASE's are very addicting, nice to know you are enjoying your set.

That 95W is a killer ... Pretty much the only one I need.

The 2008 reverse of 07 also is a higher dollar coin .. But nice to have

I really like the ASE coins ... Almost done with my second set of bullion,
coins ...both in Dansco's

I also have a Dansco for each of my grandkids ... One for each year
Since birth.

I can check ..pretty sure I have two ..maybe three extra burnished dates.

I would expect nothing less

Now I have to look into pages to see if littelton has with proofs and sp pages or if I'd have to get blanks

I'm working on this set too, Cascade. I'm buying mine one at a time to fill in the older Proofs. I have 10 to go, not including the 95W. At this time all my P's are in the OGP.

I really haven't tried to get the bullion ones but I bet through stacking I have most.

Out of curiosity, do the proof versions retain their value without the original packaging and COA from the mint? I've never seen them in an album before.

In mu experience the proofs, and burnished, will sell for
less when they are not in the OGP.

Graded (slabbed). can trade for more .. or less .. depending
on grade and which TPG and labels.

I feel it is important to keep the OGP, if possible, because
many dealers will want it, It makes selling them easier.

I do take mine out of the OGP, but so far have left them
in the capsules. The OGP takes up a lot of safe space.

If I purchase better proofs and Burnished ASE's that do not
have the OGP, I watch ebay. Sometimes you can find just
the OGP for a few dollars. Make sure you get the correct box
and COA, if buying this way.

Good point but I wonder if the novelty of having a complete set of one of each ASE ever produced in an album will add a certain cache to the set. Obviously you just don't see them so I bet there are more than a few album accumulators that would love such an album and pay a premium to buy one whole (sans 95w or with)
As you guys can see, it looks great combined and the proofs look great in album holes. I'm toying with the thought of moving and completing the set in those capsule albums but I love littelton and what toning colors could be produced but I may not want to risk it and the capsule albums look very sleek.

I don't collect ASEs, but I have been collecting all the 5-ounce silver ATB coins and putting into a special display case. Most years I've purchased the bullion pucks from dealers, but one year I actually bought the collector versions directly from the mint. Originally, I didn't add those to my display, but I finally decided to do so and just put the OGP and COA for each one aside. That way, if I ever decide to sell the complete set (or just part of it), I can always return them to the packaging.

Dansco makes a album that holds both proof and bullion coins, I am
afraid to look at it .. for fear I will want to do it.

I just have to many sets going.

I think the set you have is nice looking, and also curious how the coins
might tone.

Also .. I too have been looking at those albums that hold the coins in
capsules. Pretty sure I will try the Ike one of these first, to see if I like
them. I think I might be able to find enough Ike's to fill one.

For your current album. I wonder how long the coins have been in the
album? They seem to be in good shape. Have you done any research
about updating the pages, for the current coins.

I'm not sure how long. If it has been since 2006 I'm assuming the toning might take off in the next few years as some have started but most are blast. I move slow on afterthought things like this. Buying is the thrill while research and decisions about keeping, selling, how to store if keeping, do I want to upgrade or not etc almost feel administrative. I'm thinking I'll figure it out by January and make filling the holes to current a priority at Long Beach

Does the dansco also have the sp holes?

Do they make an album that would hold capsuled ASE dollars with dates imprinted on the pages?
