On the reverse, I appreciate the ghostliness of "United States of America" as it faintly appears behind the much bolder outline of the eagle. Cool coin!

Unfortunately, I think this one was destined never to get to P01 - the necessary additional wear would almost certainly obliterate what's left of the date, rendering it ungradeable.
I continue to marvel at how heavily circulated Morgans can actually be somehow attractive, a characteristic not shared by many other designs.

In examining this specimen more closely, I've concluded that it's in fact an 1883-O.
