I'm looking at this and thinking, "no way, that's large date", but then the more I look I start to convince myself it might be small...

looks like large date to me. The 7 looks low compared to the top of the 9 and 0 and the hook of the 9 doesn't curve inward enough

It's a large date. The 7 is low, the curve of the 9 is like a large date. The LIBERTY is even pretty strong. If I was selling a small date 1970-S, I would post some decent pictures of it.

First impressions do really matter. There's another listed as small date, but priced more appropriately. They gotta know you'll return it if, when received, the turn out LD. Don't know why I'm concerned since I'm not buying anyway.

Has anyone ever found a small date set (in the 197o mint sets) on the bay - on the cheap?
