Professionally restored? Who is he/she kidding? I produce nickels that look 10 times better than that in my own bathroom sink.

Looks like someone has taken a dateless Indian head
nickel and restored the date.

Now the person is selling said coins. So seller is
no longer restoring dates for fun, is doing it for
money.

... has entered professional status.

But the seller clearly states:

It is difficult to find the Buffalo nickels in such great condition.

This is an auction for the silver coin pictured above.

Apparently the professional restorer is also an alchemist and was able to turn the copper-nickel alloy into silver

On second thought, I think I will ask this seller to restore all my nickels. I will send him rolls of nickels from the bank and I will get silver back

OK, get the sticks out to beat me up I don't see anything wrong with the listing. They said it was restored, and frankly it's a decent job. The whole coin looks etched, but I've seen much worse. Don't see anything referencing silver, but yeah, it's obviously not silver.
Rest in Peace

It looks like they put the whole coin in NIC-O-DATE then somehow retoned it. his price is not bad.

Hardly a key date, either.
