Hello all,

Ive got this traian denarri in my collection. Which appears to be an close match to this one:

Denar, 104. IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P. Rs: S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI. RIC 204. C. - . BMC 233. Hill 197.

Is this correct?

you have to check the left shoulder : if draped , it is RIC204 , with aegis , RIC203 and with nothing RIC202 , I think it is the last one , but it is difficult to see on the picture here . On the reverse is Victory standing right, holding spear and parazonium (long triangular dagger ) , the legend indicates the period 106-111 AD. Did you buy it by a good dealer because I have a bad feeling with this coin? albert
