Ah @Half, hope you have fun in Japan! It would be sweet to go especially now that I have a Japanese type album to fill I wonder if some of the coins would be cheaper to get there.

I wont get there until the summer but I will definitely do some poking around!
If I happen to remember I will let you know what I find.
I do not have much knowledge of Japanese coinage. In fact I only have a few examples from when I flew through Narita in 2008 and a "samurai" silver coin I picked up a couple years ago in San Diego that I like the looks of. lol

Let's see.... 2016 gold Walking Liberty, Standing Liberty and Mercury dime when available. 2016 uncirculated, proof and silver proof sets as they come out. 2016 Native American Coin and Currency set in March. 2016 Ronald Reagan Coin and Chronicles set when available. 2016 world bullion coins I will need to keep my 6 countries I am working on current. Finish my Franklin half dollar album. That should bust my 2016 coin budget and then some but I'm sure I will pick up a little something here and there.

Well I've expanded my list for 2016 and that is to finish my Proof set collection down to 1950 with the 4 early ones to go. I also finished my Certified short set of Ike dollars that are silver getting the last one a few weeks ago. I decided now to put together a certified short set of Jefferson silver War Nickels. I have all of these coins already in my Dansco set albums in uncirculated MS and Proofs so these are just extra certified short sets. After the certified Silver Jefferson War Nickel set is done I'm not sure what I will work on. I'm thinking of maybe starting to buy some certified Morgan dollars as I have very few of them. I have a complete Peace dollar collection in as good of condition as I could afford when I put it together many years ago. I also buy the Proof sets and mint sets and commemorative coin releases from the mint each year and update my ongoing collections.

Fill in the remaining three Scarface Stages in my set of 1888-O Morgan varieties. I still need H0, H8, and H9 with Ash hanging on to an extra H8 he has pending me jumping. That H8 morphed into a new pool liner so I'm still needing a hunk of change to get it. PG

Anything and everything I can get my hands on. Figuratively, of course.
I've already got my registration completed for the Dallas show in March, which I've reserved time off work for, assuming I've not had surgery by then.
A year spent on CCF has increased my knowledge by 100000% as well as given me quite an education in distinguishing the good, the bad, and the ugly. I think I'll make smarter decisions going forward.

I finished my Buffalo nickel set this year, and my goal for 2016 is to complete the Jefferson set I have had in progress for a while as well as the Liberty nickel set I just started. Right now I am only working on the Jefferson set that goes through 1961 so I might try to get the next one up. That one will be pretty easily completed from circulation though so not too high of a priority. Other than completing the nickel sets, I will continue to upgrade my two completed sets: 20th Century Type and Buffalo nickels. heck I might even start on a silver set (either rosies or franklins) with silver being so dirt cheap.

Quote: My goal in 2016 as silver price keeps going down and down is to get more and more silver, whether Eagles or 90%. Based on my past performance, this is probably a foolish thing. Oh well. Well, now that I have thought this over, I have decided to finish my Eisenhower set, I have about 14 now, and will work on upgrading those that are not up to snuff and obtaining those I do not have. This will give me some specific goal to focus on. I have ordered the Dansco 8176 album. I will still be looking for Silver also.
