1903-O Morgan Grade? - Coin Community Forum

1893SMorgan New Member United States 17 Posts	Posted 01/25/2008 11:51 pm I recently won a 1903-O at auction for $406 and was wondering what you guys thought it would grade. I'm planning on submitting it to PCGS soon, just wanted to get an idea before I sent it. Does it have any VAMs? SeatedNut Pillar of the Community United States 2797 Posts	Posted 01/26/2008 09:11 am 1893SMorgan, That's a nice 03-O that, based on the small photos, I would guess to be an MS63~64. Don't worry about the VAM (we can't help w/o larger photos). The 1903-O has no VAMs that have a "wow" factor that would increase the value. All have an R-factor (rarity) of 2 thru 5, and an interest factor of 2 (out of 5). Most of the attributed VAMs are for posititioning of the mintmark, doubling of the profile, and/or doubling in the date. Report this Post to the Staff

Yeah and I found some good sites that deal with VAMs and read about the mintmark one. This one doesn't have any.
