Hi,

another cent. How would you grade the coin?
Thank you.

I would say XF-45 details, cleaned/corroded.

I might even go as high as AU-50 details on the obverse, but the corrosion/environmental damage will knock it down quite a bit. If the color in the photographs is true, then the rosy hue very definitely indicates a cleaning and retoning at some point in the past. The reverse is harder to see, but there appears to be some staining/corrosion going on there, as well. I'd not be ashamed to have the coin in my collection, but would not want to overpay for this one.

And what should I do against the verdigris?
Do not want that this stuff corrodes my coin any longer...

This is a perfect example of someone trying to shine and "improve" the appearance of an historic piece and RUINING IT!
