Why would anyone even bother to get that graded? Obvious reverse roller damage too.

...and I highly disagree with the grade. Looks more like a VG8 or VG10 to me.
Rest in Peace

Ok, while I personally feel 1943 was a very good year, why bid over 5 bucks on this?

Maybe it's for a lowball collection.

It's too low to be worth anything to an average collector, but it's too high to bee worth anything to a lowball collector. Plus, nobody wants roller damage.

Yeah doesn't make much sense!!
My best guess would be maybe a new collector just didn't wanna miss one of anacs free grading promos , so they sent In whatever they had ...
Still yet would have cost them 25 bucks so idk !

The strict definition of a lowball coin requires a coin to be problem-free as well. Being that this coin has damage, that is hardly so.
