coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/11/2015 1:45 pm Looks like this came from a broken hub that passed this on to the die. Note a big thing as there could be several dies with the same issue striking many coins. 1936 cents dies had the same broken hubbing issue on several dies. The 1956 cents were also affected with a broken bottom of the 6 on the date with a similar issue of hub damage. (most never notice these) But there is no extra premium for these. I had a little pile of the '36 with broken R to post as a question, but now I don't have to (I noticed the '56 broken 6 too).
