Am attempting to cross ANACS to PCGS. Need a little help filling out the form. If anyone is familiar with the process, please explain, or maybe you could PM me. Thanks, Ed Edited by edweather 12/12/2015 4:49 pm

Sorry, took my coins I wanted to cross to a dealer, so I didn't have to do it myself.

basebal21, Thanks, sounds good. I'll fill out the form the best I can, and will be in touch. Thanks again.
edit: I tried to PM you, but it wouldn't go through. I think you need to adjust your profile settings to allow emails.

sounds good bud. You have a fair amount of leeway with them for how you want to proceed with the cross and what's acceptable. Best of luck bud

huh ? Not sure what just happened. I said tried to send you an email, and your profile settings in CCF won't allow it. So if you want me to contact you please adjust your settings, that's all you have to do. Thanks, Ed Anybody else out there familiar with the crossover process?

Hummm.......Well, maybe you never unblocked them. They are blocked by default. Because I did attempt to send you a message, and the familiar note of "member does not wish to receive emails," came up. Are other members PM'ing you? Lemmie know. Ed

That's strange. Basebal has 9k posts. I'd assume he's unlocked it already

Hey thanks, Guess it's not meant to be. I understand about the 1% guaranteed premium fee, that's 1% of the value on the PCGS price list, but my questions were about figuring out the coins value for the grading fee and return postage fee. Also if I pay by check, how do they refund the 1% if it doesn't cross. I'm a bit leery of giving a credit card # to them.

Give them your card. PCGS has not done me dirty in 3yrs. I've had no issue with them overcharging. In fact, if I over estimate charges they fix it. I've had absolutely no administrative issues with them at all. As for your crossover question I've never done one. As for the figuring out the value, that's just for insurance while in their custody so estimate the value and put it down, simple. Why is estimating value holding you up?

The value determines what level of grading you can use, Economy, Regular, or Express. Also for return shipping. The reason I'm asking is because I paid $150 for the coin, but if it will cross to a PCGS, their price guide value is 16K. That's quite a range

Quote: The reason I'm asking is because I paid $150 for the coin, but if it will cross to a PCGS, their price guide value is 16K. Indeed ... that is quite a range. I politely suggest that there are very few coins that are going to crossover from ANACS at $150 to PCGS at $16K ... you might consider sharing a few more details of this treasure so we can better assist your efforts. Regardless of additional information ... you have already been told correctly that the owner stated value on any PCGS submittal is for insurance, shipping and grading cost purposes. If you truly think this is a $16K coin then submit it as such ... not sure why that is complicated for you? David
