Don't have it in hand yet but took a chance. The pic looks mightily doctored. Any opinions on grade? Thanks [/URL] Edited by Sidekick-CA 12/14/2015 3:50 pm

Taking it at face value, so to speak, and asssuming the surfaces are lustrous and original, it looks like an easy 64 or better. But I agree the pics do not look natural.

As frog says, the photos are doctored so hard to tell for sure until you have the coin in hand and post new photos.

MS-63 as a safe guess until better pictures.

Anna Williams aka Silver Dollar Girl. She was the model for the lady on the Morgan dollar.

You are the first, and only person I've ever heard call a Morgan dollar an "Anna"

I think she might make 63. What about PL?

This provides a good illustration of how pictures can lie. The seller photos almost completely conceal the obverse field chatter which is the grade-limiting feature. Those images also hide the strong luster which Sidekick's photos show clearly. That luster might carry the coin to a 63 grade but the chatter remains a distraction. I'd say MS-62 would be appropriate.
