Ow man in the last 3 boxes no silver no buffalos no proof nothing I did find 3x1942 but no mint mark so I think is just a regular nickel before they start with the War Nickel but I also found a 1943 nickel with no mint mark on it so I guess ia henning nickel , is the henning worth some ? Is litle rusted easy to see that is not a silver War Nickel ! |

Check the date again .... and if still convinced it's a 1943 then show us some photos so we can help ID. "rusted easy to see that is not a silver War Nickel" corrosion can occur on any metal under the right conditions, as nickel searcher said we would need pictures to identify it |

Still need a '39-S, '43-D, '50, and '50-D. I think DylansDad needs to release some back into the wild :)

24 rolls today.....looked like all but one were CWR:
1939-1
1941-4
1944 P-1
1946-1
1952 d-1
1953-1
1953 s-1
1968 s-1
1970 s-3
there were a few late 50's but I only save '54 and earlier plus "s" mint coins, proofs and errors.
not great but not a washout either. I wish we knew the die markers for the non-holed hennings as one of the 53 nickels looks grainy and the edges look weakly struck, like the rims are not complete in part of it.

bought one roll at the bank today for something to do on a lunch break and found a 1945 S. needless to say it was a good lunch!

here is the 1943 I was talking about but after a better look in I think I'm seeing a S mint mark on it but I'm not sure I hope my eyes are tricking me ! what you guys think is there a mint mark or not /    today I searched 1 box and found 8 1939s one dateless buffalo and a 1943S and a 1945S plus couple upgrades but was it ! I loved this box many ms for upgrade my albuns ! |

Little hard to tell with the pics (the last is too blurry to see any detail). Blowing it up 300% in my browser though sure does make it look like there is an S on the back.

yes........I do check all of my '55 coins for the OMM before I put them back into circulation, and the '54s I keep.
going to try and get my hands on another $50-100 worth tomorrow - hitting 3 branches of a local bank

I too blew the pic up. Yes, there is definitely a S mint mark there.
