I've had to let coins take a back seat for a few months due to life circumstances, but I have not forgotten this thread. Finally going to post an update. The last update I posted I had left off with 18,800 rolls, with 6,200 remaining to get to 25,000. I have ten updates to post here; a total of 1000 rolls. But, to make things easier, I am going to post them all together, to get me to 19,800 rolls. The next update I post will be 200 rolls, to get me to an even 20,000. From there on, I will post 1000 rolls at a time, until I get to 25,000. At 25,000 I will post a total per date list. So do you have Excel open and just tally the coins as you're counting? Or do you separate into piles of different years/decades before doing a tally? Report this Post to the Staff

I will be able to do totals, but it is going to be a massive project; one for which I am going to have to set aside a big block of time. Somehow in all of my moves (moved four times in the last year alone) I lost my tally sheets. Was keeping it on my laptop, and my laptop was stolen! What I am going to have to do is go back to the totals sheet that I posted at the 10,000 roll mark, and using Coin Community, look at all of the updates that I have posted. Luckily stating with the first update after that totals sheet I started posting everything I found in that update. So, I will be able to make a new totals sheet that way. When I go through rolls, I put aside in a pile everything 1958 and before, and then when I am done list them on a sheet of paper that I have all dates and mintmarks already preprinted on.
