Latest batch of nickel rolls yielded the tough to find 1955 and the 1969-S proof shown below. Very surprising find!

I dont usually post finds until I finish the whole box, but this could be fun...first roll had a war, 1944P, which means the rest of the box will probably be a disappointment. 10 rolls later I pulled a '39, I havent checked the mm yet, i'll save that for when I finish the box.

Finished the box, here's the results:
Turned out there was another war in there besides the 44P, pulled a 43S as well, also pulled a buffalo, 1935 There were 2 39's in there, neither one was a D.
39 39s 40 40d 41 42 43S 44P 46 x2 47 48d 48s 49 51s 54 54d 57d 58d x3 59d x6
25 pre 60's, plus 2 wars and 1 buffalo!
Best box all year. I dont think I've pulled a buff and a war from the same box.

If only I could turn the S on that 39 into a D, i'd be thrilled.

Box #41: finally a War Nickel, even though it's horrible condition. last war was 6 boxes ago. 1939 1940 (x2) 1941 1943 s silver 1946 (x2) 1948 1948 d (x2) 1949 1951 1952 1954 d (x2) 1954 s 1958 d (x4) 1959 d (x2) 2009 p 2009 d (x7) 1990 Singapore 20 cents And depositing these coins at the bank I saw a 1967 Kennedy half in the teller tray. that was neat to find.

Box 21: one silver ('45P), and nothing else of note. Actually, just one candian nickel, which weird since I live near our neighbor to the north.

So my Jefferson nickel album came in the mail, I'm super excited. and after putting my nickels in the album I found that my 1964 and 1969 s nickels were proofs, so I need to find those again.

Quote: Good luck on finding a '64! Lol, yeah we all know that won't be that hard. But most of my nickels are in great shape, high au and some ms. so i'll have to seek a high grade 1964 to fill that spot.
