Box 25 gave up two nice buffalos, and hole fillers for my wife, her dansco for buffs, is half full, with really nice coins from circulation. She has about 6 other rolls of buffs, half date, no date, full date...etc...I think she is gonna go to ebay and try to fill her album, I told her see if she can do it, selling her rolls, and spending no $$, I think she is up for the challange. We also have 4 different shields. We are gonna work on that after the buffs, thats gonna cost some $$, also need 1912 S liberty, plus my 5 jeffersons, to complete a full nickel collection.

Best find of my last box was a 1946 that was AU.

Going to buy another box later today. Still have yet to find the elusive '38D and '50D.

rachums107,

Thanks a lot!

I picked up a set of whitman albums at a local coin show two weeks ago.

After 10 boxes I have 14 holes left to fill.

Who has completed a full set of Jefferson nickels from circulation?

I am working on a set. I still have about 15-20 holes to fill. All pre 1960, except for the 2009D.

W00T! Just found an 1897 V nickel - my first 19th century coin found while roll hunting. It's a disgusting, corroded mess, but still! I've also got two Buffaloes ('26 and a nice fine '24-D) from the same box so far, which makes up for the past few skunky ones.

Nickel box numbr two: 1943P, several 1968S's and 1970S's, several 2010P's and 2011P's and some 2011D's. This was a prelim sort. But it seems very safe to say that I have the majority of dates covered well from 1956 onward except or the year 2009. Has been noticeably absent.

Also found a 20 cent coin from Singapore from 1988. Seeing the ridges on the rim woke me up from my tired stupor, lol.
