 Okie! Your 1969-S is most likely not a proof, but I cant remember when it was they started making them with S mints. Your 2000 nickel is prolly not worth anything either, although they are cool. To determine if the 1960 is a Cud or not, were gonna need a pic. Happy hunting! |

Owassokie - on your 1960, is the ' Cud' right above the 0 in the date or elsewhere? in the 2000 off center on both sides or just one? Canadian nickels before 1982 are 100% nickel - sounds like you got a bunch. Welcome to nickel searching! |

Robbudo, Its not above the 0 in 1960. I've seen that Cud recently discussed. The off center is on the obverse only. The nickel is worth like 8 cents right? Do ya'll hold on to them, even if you don't expect to get a bunch? I live in the south so don't figure to get many pre 1982 canadian nickels. |

Owassokie - a coin with one side off center is called a misaligned die error. Fairly common on many dates. If the lettering/date is off the coin, then they could go for ~ $5.

I searched through 5 rolls tonight. Filled one hole - 1942 no P (not silver), and also found 57D, 49 and a 40. Twenty-nine holes left plus the 2012's.

Did boxes 30 and 31. Box 30 landed 2 silvers, finally got 44D box 31 was a skunker. I still need 1938 d 1938 s 1939 d 1950 d since I fianlly got all the silvers, I might buy some nice War Nickels for my album, since all but about 3-4 of my others are really nice, and only one of my wars are nice. Ill just throw the ones from my album, in my silver pile. |

did a box of nickels today and found a worn Shield nickel! never expected to see one of those! all I can make out clearly is a 9 at the end ill try and take a picture although I doubt it will come out very good from a cell phone picture |
