Nice find cmgiscool. I went through a box today at work. Didn't find any silver or Buffalo nickels. I did find 3 Canadian, 3 2009, and one that looks to have strange markings on the reverse. Is anyone else saving the 2009's? I'll attempt to take post photos tomorrow.

Rew, I can't imagine not finding 2009's in a box. I'm doing 5 boxes per week and don't remember ever having a box that didn't have a 2009. Some boxes will have 20 or so 2009D's. On the other hand, despite the huge number of nickels I've searched, I still haven't found the 1950D. Want to trade :) I did find my nicest example of a Buffalo nickel yesterday. It's a 1936D with dark toning. No idea what it would grade but its easily the nicest Buffalo I've found in circulation. OO

Decided to go back to nickels since I've had much better luck with them. Anyways, got myself $40 and found a 1942-P War Nickel! And it was a hole filler to boot! 46/65 Jeffersons

Owassokie,
I only do one box a week but have not seen a single 2009. The only one I found I got in pocket change. I would say I was searching someone elses drops but I get silver and buffalos almost every week so that can not be it. Sorry I'm keeping that 1950D.

Our box tonight yielded only one keeper, a 1955p. That is #30 for us, by far the largest number of any of the coins in the under 15 million catagory.
It is hard to believe how much easier it has been for us to find the 1951s (22) and the 1955p (30) than it is to find any of the "rare five", of which we have found a total of only 11 combined, even though the mintages are not that much less than the 1951s and the 1955p.

I found out today that my Credit Union cannot sell me the bags of nickels from the coin machine. According to them, the bag count that is picked up by the Armored Car Service must balance exactly with the receipts from the coin machine. I'm a little bummed about this. I was looking forward to getting my hands on these bags. Looks like I'll have to settle for the customer wrapped coins when they get them.
I did get $10 in nickels, $150 in quarters, and $10 in dimes. No silver in any of it. From the nickels, I did get 14 2012-P and 2 2009-D. It's odd for me to get that many "P" mint marks. The 2012's look to be in pretty good shape. I also have 6 nickels that I have to look at tomorrow. I left my loupe at work today.
