I haven't posted in the nickel section in awhile. Haven't really had much to post. I have been finding a few War Nickels, which is nice, but few rough buf's and no V nickels. Last night I found my first modern nickel proof. Its the 2004 that says Louisiana Purchase on the reverse. Its still in near mint condition and a real beauty. OO |

Just finished my second box over the last 2 days.
1 dateless Buffalo
1 1943-S (someone really polished it)
60 1940 to 1959
3 Foreign coins

Here are the photos of my finds from my last 2 boxes. Sorry for the quality. Photos are from my phone. This dateless Buffalo turns out to be a 1919-D after a little Nic-A-Date.   Found these 2 of the Foreign coins, I know nothing about them. The 3rd Foreign coin I found was a Canadian Nickel. I still keep all the Foreign coins I find.   This has obviously been polished or dipped. The obverse is really worn.   Hopefully getting at least 2 more boxes tomorrow. I need something to do this weekend rather than yard work.  |

I picked up 1 of my boxes this morning. I'm glad they didn't have 2 boxes. It's a whole box of 2012-D. I don't know what to do with them? I don't want to keep them just is case....? Any suggestions?  |

Are they not uncirculated? I thought I remember someone on this forum say that you can actually flip them for a few bucks over fv? Either ebay or a dealer? |

I sold a box of 2012D on ebay for $145.00 plus 12.99 postage about a week ago. |

If they're uncirculated put them up on ebay starting at face value and buyer pays cost to ship (priority flat rate is probably the best bet) and you should make some money. At least enough to cover fees and have a little left. If you don't have the time or don't think it will make enough money then just spend it or dump it. |

i just got 2 boxes of shiny 2012-P Nickels. Tried selling them on ebay but they didn't go. I ended up returning them to a bank. |

Got $20 from one of my pick-up banks, and it wasn't so great. The only keeper was a 1946-D.
@Murphy: That first one is a 20 pence coin from the UK. The second is a 10 Groschen coin from Austria. Hope that helped :3

I can identify some of the foreign coins. But most of them are hard to find out where they are from. I save them and try to sort them by Country.
