Wow, 10!! that's actually unfair. Actually, after 8500 rolls, I guess you deserve it huh! OH AND I GOT MY FIRST PROOF NICKEL! it's a 2005 Ocean View. The best part was it was in the 1st roll, I poured them out and the black mirror finish stuck out pretty good, and my eyes actually got huge-i was in disbelief! Now that I've found a proof, I need to get me some V's!!
congrats, again

I would be interested in seeing the final results. It is fun searching rolls everyonce in a while. Nothing of that magnitude, good luck.

I picked up 5 rolls today from B of A. Three were in very old looking blue wrappers. Alas, they were not old at all. They had coins all the way up to 2007. Only thing worth keeping was a '57 D.

Picked up 10 rolls from a bank today. I got a 1947, 1952, and a 1943 P War Nickel. That's my first War Nickel from roll hunting. I had one in change a few months ago also.

Looks like this thread died off a little, but I figured I'd revive it. I picked up 10 rolls yesterday and got 7 pre-1960. The best was a 1939 and a dateless buffalo.

I've also been taking some of the Kennedy's from my weekly box and exchanging them at the bank for rolls of nickels - much to the annoyance of some tellers!

I just got 10 boxes this past week so I'll start digging. Through 2 boxes I've not found any War Nickels yet but did manage to come across a nice 1938-D. Hope everyone has a nice Memorial Day weekend.

10 boxes!! I'm envious. How did the teller react when you placed that order?!!

I was beginning to become a little disappointed but am finding some nice coins in this last box. 3 War Nickels and a 1908 V. Luckily enough I have a very good relationship with my bank. I can usually get whatever I like (within reason) as long as I give them enough advance. I also make sure to dump them at a different bank.
