I've went through 9 boxes of nickels before and got lots of 30's, 40's and 50's for my album, 6 silver, 2 Buffalo (including one Fr02 1913-D Type 1), and some DD's. Not too shabby.

I just finished my second box, and I am super pleased! I found a dateless buffalo, which was a nice and surprising sight. I also found 7 War Nickels! 43p x 2 44p 44d 45p x 3 I want to go back to the bank to see if they have more boxes from this batch, since it had abnormally high War Nickels. One popped out of the first roll and the reverse mint stared me in the face. I knew that was a good sign, and I'm glad it played out the way it did Filled 4 or 5 holes in my 38 to 61 whitman, including what might be a proof coin. Pics looked terrible tonight, may try again with different light.

I just did two more boxes tonight after finding 7 War Nickels in one box last night. Unfortunately, they did not have any more stamped with the same # as last night's box. But, these 2 boxes did good still. Ended up filling a few holes in my 1938-1961. Also happy to report that 5 War Nickels came out, all philadelphia mint. It was a fun few hours and now I really need to return some coin to my dump bank.

Found 2 silver wars, a '38, and some other pre-60 in half of a bag and about 20 fed wrapped rolls.

Polished off a box of nickels at work over the last 3 days. 2 silver nickels, a 1900 V nickel, a mint 1941, and a 1939S. If only it had been a 38S I would be done.
