Hahaha I'm gonna go back tomorrow and see if they will give me another box or two for sure. That was the best box I've had in awhile tho.

3 silver nickels in 1 box. small amount of pre-60, but better dates, however, nothing too great.

Been only reading on this site for a bit and started coin roll hunting only a few weeks ago but I wanted to share my find from tonight. Picked up $10 in nickels from Chase along with a few other denominations. Opened the first roll and found an entire roll of 1943-P and 1944-P. Next roll was about half 43/44 for a total of 38 1943-P War Nickels and 24 1944-P. 62 in all. My wife and I were amazed to find such a haul so early in the game. She's even going back tomorrow to pick up a few more for us just in case there's another roll or two just like it.

ASUFAN - great job. I have been looking at nickels for years and have been waiting to find a big haul like that. My best was a roll of buffalos. I have found large dumps of good pennies/ halves and dimes - I still need to find a killer dump of nickels like yours. you are now hooked. go buy more of everyhting. however - don't think you will find that kind of find all the time. you may never find it again. congrats and welcome aboard.

did a box and got a 43d silver and no date buffalo - along with typical number of pre-60.

I had a decent bag yesterday. That buffalo is too far gone to tell the date, but the 45S was a hole filler, and the 55 is really dark.. Black beauty maybe? I read that they happened mostly in 59 but in other years also. for color comparison

2 boxes of nickels. Some pre-1960 and S mints, a couple of Canadians, another Turkey coin, 2 War Nickels, first 2009 in a while, a 1975S proof and a nice 1958D. Of the 5 proof nickels I have every found 2 have been 1975. I also scored and Asian whatever it is while dumping as the teller came back and asked if it was min and I said no but I'll take it.

We now have at least two of every Jefferson nickel except for the 1950d of which we have none.
