Hi Drew - indeed it must be an SMS. It looks better than the two proofs I found a week or so ago so I assumed it was another impaired proof.

This was a crazy box and a nice one off the heals of a so-so box. I'll need some time to sort it all out but the highlights -
18 Buffalos 12 from the 30s 76 from the 40s 65 from the 50s 101 from the 60s (60-64) 10 from the 70s 2 from the 80s 1 2009
My eyes are burning but I had to see what the counts were going to be. I guess my drought on Buffalos is officially over!

Getting closer smeyers! A couple of those should shake out for you in a box or two. RC - that's an interesting coin. Did you post it in the Modern Error's forum? I've not seen anything like that but clearer pictures might help. OK, here are the fun pics for my best box of the year - First Roll with Buffalo The mix of Buffalo The 30s (nearly full steps on the 1939) The 40s (1941S Large) The 50s The 60s (a couple DDs not shown here)

Nice finds Carlos
Rackster - that was a random bank box? CWR or from brinksmanship or someone? Definitely a dump from somewhere
Very nice. That's a once in a lifetime or at least once every several years find if you hunt many thousands of dollars/year

Cbass - amazingly it was from a Dunbar box. Before that, my best CRH event came from CWRs where someone sorted the old stuff into a few rolls. Both were dumps of some magnitude but this was one were I got spoiled. I was disappointed (too harsh a term) when I wasn't pulling out 6-8 nickels a roll to scrutinize. As we know, getting 1-2 to look at is about the norm.
