Hi John - around 55 Ps and 18 Ds. Around a 3:1 ratio for me(in Connecticut). This is over a 3 year period but I usually do a box in 2 weeks and I don't usually get to the bank but once a month (if that). I'd say I pulled those from around 50-60 boxes if I were to guess.

Rackster, thanks for the info... although I've found 2 1/2 rolls of 09-Ds, very few are what I would call BU. Vast majority are XF/AU. Is that the same case for the 09-P & D coins you've found?
CoinRumbles, nice find on the 1893 Nickel.
I did 10 rolls yesterday, and found only 1 pre-60 (a 59-D). LOL. It happens!

Same mix John. Hard to find BU specimens. Maybe 1-2 D and 3-4 P. Enough for the active folders but not many spare BU samples.

$40 in customer rolls tonight yielded 2 war nics 1944P and 1945D  and several other pre 60s and a few canada finds. |

Did $100 from the back where I got the 4 buffaloes, and while it wasn't as good this time, the box was still great. Got 23 pre-'60 Jeffersons, including a 1943-P War Nickel! Only one I kept apart from the War Nickel was a 1954 upgrade for my folder. I also got a 1977 Canadian. 2nd War Nickel and 2nd Canadian of the year   Edited by CrazyCat

CC - that '43 appears to be in fine shape. Perhaps a lamination on the reverse? Don't forget to check the P for an RPM and check for a doubled die (obverse and reverse). When they are in good shape like yours the details may be easier to detect/confirm. Good luck!!

Rackster- Hey, there is a bit of lamination you're right What's the DDR for the '43-P look like? I never heard of it. I know about the doubled eye DDO and mine doesn't have that. From what I can see with my loupe, the mintmark looks perfectly normal. Guess it's just a regular War Nickel, but at least it's silver =D |
