Well, that's four for me in 2 days... 19 total since I started this back in mid-February. The more common 1943-P has shown up 13 times so far. In the old days, this was reversed. CrazyCat Pillar of the Community United States 556 Posts	Posted 09/08/2016 5:02 pm New pick-up bank was out of halves, so I decided to get a box of nickels, which I haven't done in a few weeks. No wars or buffaloes, but a record-breaking (for me) 30 pre-1960 Jeffersons. Strangely enough, 1946 was the most represented date with 7 plains and 1 D. The keepers were a 1948-S which has some good detail but looks like it spent some time in a parking lot. A 1951 plain and 1951-D (could have been 1 year older, but no). Got 2 foreign finds. A 2000 Canadian nickel and a 1997 1 Ruble, which is the first Russian coin I've ever found Report this Post to the Staff

No War Nickels or buffalos. Did get 18 pre-60's Jeffersons: 39P(2) 40D (great condition, pic below) 41D 41S 42D (not silver)- hole filler 47S 48D(2) - hole filler 48P 53P 53S 54D 55D 57D 59D (3) 1940D 1942D Found a 2009D and a 60D that was a hole filler too, as well as 2 canadians (both 1992 125th anniversary ones).
