Quote: A very successful day! Quality > Quanity Agreed. Quote: The overall finds for the day are as pictured. I ultimately went through a total of 65 nickel rolls. Nice batch. Quote: A dateless buffalo a 1943p war nickle and a very nice 1948s which is a little better than the one in my Dansco now. Nice finds!

Hi everyone! Picked up a 1/2 box of nickels for the long weekend last week. Not much for pre-60's nickels (11). But, we did find two War Nickels. A 1945P and a 1945S (which the 1945S was a hole filler for the book!). First time we've gotten multiple War Nickels in our typical 20-25 rolls we get.

Easy typographical mistake.

Quote: Easy typographical mistake. Or the horrors of multi-tasking... Anyways, 35 rolls produced a 44-S War Nickel, and strangely 3 BU 1959-Ps.

The BU '59 finds are cool... the bottom two of them almost look like they're proofs... the steps are very well defined. They came from String&Son rolls like the previous batch of BU '59s I found last month but from a different bank.

Nice. It is possible a dump made it into the system and is getting distributed around. Perhaps you will find a few more in the near future.
