Agreed.

The overall finds for the day are as pictured. I ultimately went through a total of 65 nickel rolls.
Nice batch.

A dateless buffalo a 1943p war nickle and a very nice 1948s which is a little better than the one in my Dansco now.
Nice finds!

Hi everyone!
Picked up a 1/2 box of nickels for the long weekend last week. Not much for pre-60's nickels (11).

But, we did find two War Nickels. A 1945P and a 1945S (which the 1945S was a hole filler for the book!). First time we've gotten multiple War Nickels in our typical 20-25 rolls we get.

Good finds, trapper. Were there any mintmarks?

I have never seen a silver war nickle without one.

Easy typographical mistake.

Or the horrors of multi-tasking...

Anyways, 35 rolls produced a 44-S War Nickel, and strangely 3 BU 1959-Ps.

I think I am more impressed with the 1959 finds. Very nice!

The BU '59 finds are cool... the bottom two of them almost look like they're proofs... the steps are very well defined. They came from String&Son rolls like the previous batch of BU '59s I found last month but from a different bank.

Nice. It is possible a dump made it into the system and is getting distributed around. Perhaps you will find a few more in the near future.
