Today's 20 rolls of nickels (8 customer-wrapped and 12 machine-wrapped) produced just 3 common date pre-1960 coins. I guess it was "one of those days"! My half-dollar connection also forgot to order this week's box, so the day was doubly uninteresting as far as coin roll hunting went.

Yes, jbuck! They're not quite on the roll I had going this summer, but I'm still finding them... shocked to find my 2nd 1990-D NO FS this month, after finding only two total my first 8 1/2 months of searching.

That's a great box, John77. 4 Buffaloes in one box is awesome. I have only found a few 49-S coins. I picked up three boxes of nickels for this weekend, so hopefully I'll have something to show soon. I'm almost done with the first box, but foreign coins seem to be the only notable coins so far.

Thanks, aristarchus123! And good luck with your three boxes! The 49-S is a tough coin for me, but the 51-S is a little harder... That said, I've found over half a roll combined between those two dates. The advantages of West coast roll hunting...
And trapper, very nice finds! Congrats!

I finished a box earlier today, but found nothing as nice as John77 and Trapper above. There were non-USA coins (Guatemala, Singapore, Bermuda, Canada), a blue plastic token, and lamination issue with a silver nickel. Ok, back to looking at cents!

Another 38-S! That is amazing, John77! I'm still looking for that and the 50-D to complete the set from circulation in 2016.

Thanks, jbuck and aristarchus123! BTW, that green gunk at the bottom of the obverse came off very easily with a soft towel.
And yes, I am still looking for that elusive 50-D as well...
