Thanks, JBuck... I did "only" 41 rolls yesterday thanks to an afternoon excursion to the coin shop to buy some "junk silver." No complaints here though! 2 more silvers rescued!  CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Found these in 1 box last week 1936P & 1937D buffalo 1941P war nickle, that brings my war nickle total to 657 I have found in the wild. 1951S I keep all nickles below 10 million mintage.  |

still looking for a 38s after 258 boxes. darn elusive on the east coast. found this 2 weeks ago thinking about using white vinegar on it or nic-a-date. Or maybe I will just leave it alone. my first dateless V. I was going to rotate the 2nd pic 90 degrees, but it doesn't really matter does it? :-)   |

skibdib - Have being searching some dimes of late, ready to hit the nickels again. I have to be close to $20,000+ searched and still looking for the elusive 39S. Hoping you find the 38S soon! I think someone else recently posted being one away?

Thanks Nickelitus, I hope you find yours too. Just talking about it is good luck haha. My last hole filler was the 45d that I found on 3/1/2015. So hard to get that last one! I will never give up, even if I only do 1 box a year. I will hunt that thing down, if I have to vacation in California to find it!

Thanks, jbuck... silver is always fun! Good finds skibdib and trapper! As for your V nickel, skibdib, throw it in some vinegar. I don't think it can hurt. I've actually been "pickling" some of my dateless Buffalos the past week or so, and so far I have found a 1918, 1918-S, 1920, 1924, and 1927 with 6 coins still in the vinegar. And Nickelitus and skibdib, keep trying... eventually those 38S and 39S nickels will show up. Maybe you guys should pay a visit to Cali.... but don't go hitting my banks! OK.... I've been very busy hunting the past several days. I've gone through 13,800 nickels since Turkey day. Two Buffalos (one dateless, not pictured as it's "pickling"), 3 War Nickels, a 1942-D, my 4th 1950-P, and the best 2009-P I've found to date are the highlights...
