Yeh it took me 269 boxes or so to find my 1938s, the last I needed to complete my jefferson circulation set. Congrats!

Finished up the rest of our box this weekend. Ended up with 32 pre-60 Jeffersons. The highlights were the 48S and the 44P silver. Found 2 2009Ds, still looking for the 2009P. Also found a 1991 Canadian nickel, with a mintage of 10 million. That was a filler for the Canadian book from US circulation :)

Still going through the box to fill the folders. Found a 54P, 2 58D's and a 39 plain in 3 rolls not too bad. Will update folder pics later this week. Still have not found any 2009 nickels.

I probably have missed it, but have we reached 25,000 rolls yet, and if not where are we? And are there recent stats on the odds of getting buffaloes/ War Nickels?

Went through a box tonight and my finds: 1939-P 1940-P 1941-P X 2 1941-D X 2 1946-P X 3 1946-D X 2 1947-P 1948-P X 2 1948-D 1949-D 1949-P 1950-P 1951-S 1952-P and D 1953-P 1953-D X 2 1954-P and D 1955-D 1956-D 1957-D and P 1958-D 1968-S x 2 1969-S x 2 1970-S x 6
As far as a buffalo in a roll, I've been through probably 10 boxes and found 3 I believe.

oriole - I've often wondered how many rolls/nickels the CRH community have gone through since the thread was started. I'm certain we are way beyond 25K rolls searched in a year's time. Many hardcore nickel searchers do hundreds of dollars a week, so between those folks they likely reach that count by themselves. The rest of us just pile onto the total count. Oh those dirty fingers!!

Quote: I probably have missed it, but have we reached 25,000 rolls yet, and if not where are we? This thread started as a project for the OP (coppernickeldaddy). It later evolved into the Nickel CRH thread for the whole community. The 25,000 roll goal was for that one member and not the community at large. The name remained as I only added the "All Searchers Welcome!" to the title.

Went through $40 of nickels tonight with very few keepers. There was a lone pre-1960 (57D) and 2 S-mint marks (67S & 68S). There was a very nice 61 that became a Dansco album upgrade.
