Just joined and came across this. In the past few months I have went through about $250 in nickel rolls. I didn't keep track of any pre 50's but did make a few good finds. A 42P and 43P, 38, 39D, and the ones that suprised me where 2 36's a day apart from two different banks
Excellent!

My wife has started searching nickel rolls and came across this I believe middle eastern coin today.

The coin is from Pakistan. Not sure of the denomination. But a cool find.

Kinda fun the last box, here are the best finds, a couple of Buffalo nickels, a barely readable 1920-D and a 1937. Then two proof nickels, a 1972-S, and 1978-S. Just two Canadian, and a collection of oldies pre 1960...

And then went to a local bank to trade this searched box for another box. I go through the entire box and look at the enders to see what I find. Well, this is a first for me! A silver War Nickel ender, and that is a good sign for me!

1966.... nice. Most of the Cuds I found were from the '80's.

Not sure how I missed this thread. Planning to get another nickels box tomorrow. Hoping for War Nickels and Buffalos. My ultimate goal is to find a V nickel. I think the chances of finding a Shield nickel are next to nil, but a boy can dream.

Cheers!

Only notable find was a 2009 in my nickel box hunt tonight. But, the search goes on. My bank branch said they only had one more box left, and have more on order. Should I clean them out tomorrow? If no one gets it before I do ...
