Was traveling this weekend, and exchanged for 10 customer rolls in a small town along the way. Total count from the 10 rolls was 14 from the 1950s and 5 from the 1940s. Most were commons, but did include a 1943-P War Nickel. I already have that one for my album, but it was good to see nonetheless. Makes me want to go back to that small town and do another pickup, but alas, it's 4 hours away. Cheers!

Happy Thanksgiving! We went on a dump and pickup run at 4:30 yesterday, got a circulated box (machine wrapped) at 4:55 PM. And though I truly believed it would never happened, we quickly discovered we were unwrapping a collection dump. One roll alone was 38/40 pre 1960 jeffs. Right now only 9 rolls in and we've found a 50D (corrosion at the mintmark area in reverse but clearly a D mm), 50P and so many BU upgrades that I may just assemble a whole new album just to commemorate this box, leaving empty whatever slots go unfilled. I will start an entirely new thread to kick it off but I am in complete shock at the moment. Do this enough and it will probably happen but seeing the long-time youtubers get lucky like this is something you just figure strikes like lightning. Except in this case were better off afterward. After 7 rolls these were our finds:

Amazing finds! What are the odds of finding two 1950Ds in the same month?

This was an interesting $100.00 bank box to say the least... Rundown of dates: 1987 and 1988 Canadian nickels, Unusual year 19 (2007) aluminum 1 yen from Japan, A shard of random plastic! A nic-a-dated 1920 Philly Buffalo nickel, A 1945-S silver War Nickel, 1941, 1942, 1948, 1951, 3x-1953-D, 1956-D, 1959, and 1959-D, And a 2009-D...

Found a 1944-P in a customer roll today, which was an album filler. Now I just have 5 holes to fill. Cheers!
