An excerpt from the upcoming Brent D. Pogue Collection book, this story tells of collecting and meeting the founding fathers of the United States by Sir William Strickland, simply fascinating, I can't wait to read more. By David E. Tripp.

Thanks for posting this, Westcoin. It's a most interesting read, attaching history to coins. I'm surprised that the coin assortment lacked a Fugio Cent. Perhaps, the "Mind Your Business" phrase was a turn-off?
Rest in Peace

It's really cool to know exactly what happened to your coins since the day it was minted.

Yes it is, to be able to track down this particular group of coins (which contained the famous 1794 silver dollar that recently sold to Laura Sperber of Legend Coins for $10 million) is amazing, great research to find the entire trail back to when they was made, how they were acquired , and how they came to be in such fantastic condition after 200+ years.

I'm really looking forward to getting this book when it's finished and published.
