Woah, if it's a Cud it's a strange shape. Don't think I've seen any box Cuds

Slamnbass, I didn't notice those other cracks. And yes, it is an oddly shaped Cud, if that's what it is.

It is an odd shape for a Cud. Have you checked cudsoncoins web site for a match,or even contact them about it? Nice MAD.

Not a Cud.
Appears to be a die chip associated with a die crack.

Definition: A Cud is a die break that involves the rim and at least a little bit of the adjacent field or design. The vast majority of sizable die breaks are Cuds. Cuds can assume a wide variety of shapes including ovoid, crescentic, and irregular. Most Cuds represent spontaneous brittle failure. A small minority arise as the result of impacts.

This is the criteria that I use for determining if the anomaly is a Cud or not a Cud.

Since this die break does involve the rim and a portion of the field, it does meet the prerequisites mentioned above.

It is now listed as CU-1c-1984-41R

How can it be a Cud if the rim is still present? I do see the rim

On the lower portion the Cud, the rim and Cud are seen touching each other. The bridge is there. So what caused it to show there? A piece of the outside edge of the die is missing. Thus it is a Cud.

Congrats, Slamnbass! Blue calls it a Box Cud. Sounds very apt to me.
