Is This An Error Coin? - Coin Community Forum

vampiravet New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 12/17/2015 6:59 pm Hi, I am BRAND NEW to coin "collecting"... and I'm not really collecting, I'm going through a batch of foreign coins that I " inherited" from a family member. I don't think there is much there that is worth anything, but in researching the coins, I found that one Canadian ten cent coin has a defect... I can't imagine how it could happen from every day use (but I suppose it could). It is like it twisted in a circle while the letters around Elizabeth's image were being printed. There is a circular groove around the image, but it is not full circle, it stops where her crown is. I will upload some images, I hope they are good enough to see.
