They all look like split letters at different angles on E PLURIBUS. However, if you change the angle slightly, you will see it is a whole letter not split. This coin when I double checked under USB microscope is actually whole and not split on the LU. Strange stuff lol. Report this Post to the Staff

The devices are incuse and when the strike bounces a bit, the raised devices on the die enlarge these incuse devices. Seem to be common on the ATB Quarters. Report this Post to the Staff
