Debuting March 14th. Since the 2015 set sold out unexpectedly once the household limits were lifted, wonder if they'll increase the mintage? The '16 NA dollar is not as complex as the the Ironworkers design, since it's simpler it may not work as an EU coin. Another RP perhaps?

After the first few days sales of this set went nowhere but the Mint took over 3 months to remove the HH limits finally producing a sellout.
I do not think a mintage increase makes any sense and a decrease to 75k (or even 50k) would be more appropriate.

I think 50K on these is plenty enough to go around. But, no matter the numbers I will keep the series up and marked my calendar for the 14th of March.

Both my LCS's have a couple of the 2015's tat just sit in the cases. I have a couple myself. I don't think these aee that popular.
But I will pick up one of the 2016 sets.

I bought a couple of the 2015s and still think there is upside to these guys. They're no 17k (à la Truman C&C) but at 90k, that's still pretty low.
I'll be picking up the 2016 set for sure.

There are dedicated Native American $1 coin collectors out there. The set is affordable so it will reach a wider audience. I actually like the mint to continue this series and keep the price at around $15 (they do turn good profit on this set, consider the minimal cost) with mintage at around 70k so it can attract 'entry level collectors', one way to sustain the hobby.

Cool!
The 2015 set is still for sale, by the way. I wonder if this will hurt demand for the 2016 set.

It's possible. If they keep the same mintage, price and setup (Enhanced unc. coin and one dollar note), I think we would see a drop in demand.
Should the mint lower the mintage, maybe by 15k to 20k sets less, there'd probably be a jump in demand.
Such a mintage drop however, in my opinion, is unlikely. The mint probably sees 90k as the sweet spot for this series.

I agree with Atlas, I guessing they will leave everything the same, but they might increase HH limits sooner than later.

Just noticed the Mint has moved the 2016 Coin and Currency set from March 14 to a "To Be Determined" date.
Another packaging error?

Thanks for the heads up. Have put my request for one with my US coin source so that I don't have to order it and pay US Mint shipping fees to the UK.
