This 1828 (13 stars) Half Cent is not attributed as such but probably ex: Collins hoard; Cohen-3, LDS, like most of the Collins hoard examples. Slight reverse rotation. PCGS holder -- take a shot at a grade. I think it's overgraded by a step, personally. Strangely enough, PCGS has only attributed one example of Cohen-3, according to their pop report for C-3, despite it being a very common (R1) coin thanks to the hoard. Apparently people don't pay PCGS very often for the added attribution on the label. I see it as MS with a bit of a weak strike. What really concerns me is the apparent corrosion above the "A" in AMERICA and above the "N" in UNITED. Could easily be a GENUINE coin.

So technically its the highest graded example graded by PCGS, since none are attributed on the holders?
Anyways... MS-62 BN? Nice coin!

This one is not attributed on the holder, either. If it were, it would be one of two.
PCGS for some reason slabs far less varieties on labels vs. NGC and ANACS. For instance, if it were in a NGC holder it would have most likely been identified as a C-3 on the label; PCGS I think you have to pay more money or something vs. NGC's $15.
Will post slab/grade tomorrow.

that's a really nice all around coin, well struck, nice edges, appealing, very little contact. definitely a solid 60 brown imo.

I think it's a nice AU58 but the grade on the holder is MS62BN.

PCGS said AU55BN -- I was thinking AU53 but apparently CCF thinks AU58 which is fine by me!!
