Please provide grades + any issues observed. Is it TPG worthy?

The pros are the pretty toning and luster. Grade wise, it seems to have quite a few marks on both sides. A notable mark in the middle of the eagles chest. There are also ring dings on both sides. Check the mintmark for O/S or O/O varieties. There might be slight wear in the hairlines above the ear. In that case, I'd give it an AU55. If still MS, this may only grade around a 62 IMO. If there is not an over mintmark, this is very much a common Morgan and it would not make financial sense for TPG. If it's for your collection and to preserve / present with the toning, it's your choice.

I would give it MS 61, lots of chatter on both sides, rim dings and scratches.. I would pass on TPG for this coin.

Looks AU-58 to me, not much eye appeal on this one and too many marks.

Way to many scattered marks overall. 1882 o only worth submitting if it's a 64 or better....max I'd give it a 61/62. Save your money

Beautiful coin! MS63/64, possible prooflike. Would need better photos to assess that. Good candidate for a TPG slab.

Fields are WAY too scratched to be anywhere near a 63/64 grade.

CHDrew- I see a milk spotting appearance on both the obverse and reverse but I don't see any significant scratching whatsoever. The milk spotting effect is not uncommon on prooflike Morgans. I'm still at 63/64. Very nice coin! A better photo would obviously clear this up.

Eye appeal and several scratches will keep it at 62

MS61PL, might send it to ANACS, they're cheap enough and can probably even VAM it for you.
